Welcome to The Newspaper Archives of Covina

Welcome to The Newspaper Archives of Covina Public Library, funded by the Friends of the Covina Library.

The newspapers were published between 1901 and 1958 and can be keyword-searched for any desired date range. Newspapers can also be browsed issue by issue. Use the archive to gain a local perspective on historical news, to research family history, or to simply read about a person or event of interest. A search returns a result or results consisting of short paragraph(s) with the search term in boldface. Clicking on the “pdf” symbol returns a newspaper page image, which can be magnified by clicking the “Zoom-In” tool icon, a magnifying glass with a plus sign in it. The page can be searched by clicking on the “Find” option icon, a pair of binoculars.
